The Educare Learning Network’s Logic Model consists of a variety of services and strategies and short-term indicators designed to measure a variety of long-term outcomes for Educare students and their families, as well as for each Educare school and its local community.

Child Outcomes

Students who Attend Educare Schools will:

• Demonstrate age-appropriate language, literacy and pre-reading skills (PLS-5, PPVT)
• Be identified and given appropriate services (For students with delays and disabilities in language or communication) (PLS-5, PPVT)

• Demonstrate age-appropriate numeracy skills (varies by site)
• Demonstrate age-appropriate logical thinking skills (varies by site)
• Demonstrate age-appropriate self-control and working memory skills (varies by site)
• Demonstrate competence in relating to other children and managing their behavior in a group setting (DECA)
• Show competence in constructively expressing their emotions (DECA)
• Receive services (For students who have been exposed to trauma) (DECA)
• Show improvement (For students who have been identified as having emotional or behavioral disturbances) (DECA)
