Each spring, the following surveys are distributed to Educare school staff:

• Mentor teacher survey (mentor teachers, mentoring supervisors)
• Family support/engagement staff survey (FSS staff and supervisors)
• Teacher survey (lead, co-, assistant, associate, aide, substitute, floater)

Family Support and Teacher surveys are available in English and Spanish. Mentor Teacher surveys are available in English only.

Collection methods

Email: LEPs may choose to utilize FPG’s automated system that distributes links to the relevant survey to each staff member via email. LEPs are given a deadline (usually in early March) by which to update their school staff in the FPG system. Educare staff members must use the link in the email to complete the survey – no log-in information is required as each link is specific to the respondent.

Alternatively, FPG can send the links to the LEP so they can send them to staff members. One method may be better than the other for a site’s staff members for a variety of reasons. That decision can be discussed by the LEP team and site leadership and communicated with FPG.

For either distribution method, survey respondents can choose to take the survey in English or Spanish.

Paper: LEPs may choose to distribute paper surveys to all or some teachers. LEPs must establish a confidential method for teachers to return the completed paper survey to the LEP.  Neither LEP nor school staff may see completed surveys. Paper staff surveys must be shipped to FPG for data entry (see Data Security for more information).

LEPs may request copies of the staff surveys from FPG.  They are also available on the Study Tools and Forms section of the Team Member Dashboard for download and printing on site.
