Children should be assessed with the form that corresponds to their current age.  For example, children who are 12 months old in the Fall can be assessed with the Infant Form and then assessed with the Toddler Form in the Spring.  Every child in a classroom does not need to be given the same form.  The teacher completes the correct form for each child based on the child’s age.  

Variables entered into the web database:   

• DECA-Infant:  initiative and attachment raw scores, t-scores and percentiles
• DECA-Toddler:  initiative, attachment, and self-regulation raw scores, t-scores and percentiles
• DECA Child: initiative, attachment, self-control, and behavioral concerns raw scores, tscores

Timing of data submission to FPG: Child assessment data are submitted in December and June.
